From the ”Disco Baking Inferno” Bakeware set to the “Hair Force One” Back Shaver, Vremi is a houseware line that we took to the next level, giving each product a unique name and personality. As the lead writer, I happily helped guide the team in consistently crafting the unique Vremi voice through product naming, box copy, website, social, and Amazon listings.

To launch the Toyota Matrix for a youth market, we created an immersive Alternate Reality Game. Through this, users could prank their friends by selecting a character who represented an eccentric shadow side personality, in line with the Matrix’s black sheep image. This character would then virtually interact with the prankee through text, email, phone, and video messages for a week. The campaign was featured in the 2009 D&AD annual, shortlisted at Cannes, and won an Integrated Belding award.

This tortilla company was looking to shake up the dull tortilla landscape with zesty flavors and a feisty character POV. I was tasked with helping them create this brand personality that expressed their bold flavors and subversive state of mind.

As part of the national campaign for Toyota Highlander’s “Everything Counts” campaign, I was responsible for the billboard headline, print concepts, and car cling copy.

In order to appeal to a new demographic of extreme sport enthusiasts, Blueshield created the Tonik plan. This campaign was developed to bring awareness to this unique new coverage for those whose high risk lifestyle also frequently comes with a high price hospital bill.

For the pre-launch of Promark’s newest strongest drumsticks, we created a drummer lead social campaign called Project 151. Over the course of two weeks, we leaked photos of the beta project on Facebook and Twitter to entice players around the world to join this elite team of beta testing ambassadors. Submissions poured in, allowing us to select a diverse range of drummers in age, experience, and location. Once our team of 151 were announced, they were mailed a “confidential” drumstick kit along with a five part mission to test, document, and post across social platforms. Creativity was rewarded, and that is exactyly what we got.

As a long time house hold name for drummers, Evans Drumheads was looking for a way to rebrand their old tired identity while simultaneously launching their revolutionary new drumhead - the Level 360. With a demographic already familiar with Evans’ performance and branding, I was given the opportunity to help them not only raise the bar for drummers, but for their own impact as well. As lead copywriter, my team and I created a strong new revamp in look and voice - from the tagline, packaging, print, videos, social, and website that will continue on for years to come.
